Man Utd Complete Emsden-James’ Signing

Manchester United have completed the signing of teenage centre-back Harley Emsden-James.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Emsden-James has joined United from Southampton’s academy.
The 16-year-old, who is highly rated by scouts and coaches, has made the move from St Mary’s Stadium to Old Trafford this summer.

Reacting to the transfer, the young defender shared photos of his unveiling on Instagram, captioned: “Proud and grateful to sign for United. A dream come true and the start of an exciting new chapter. Can’t wait to get started.”

The signing comes less than 48 hours after Manchester United defeated West Ham United 2-1 in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.

A brace from Bruno Fernandes gave Ruben Amorim’s side the victory at the MetLife Stadium.
